Q. How long do I have to wait?
A. MRI and CAT scans - next business day. PET
usually next week.
Q. How long do
the results take?
A. The results go to your doctor within 2 business
days. You may take a CD or film with you from the scan as you leave.
Q. Which scan is best for me?
A. That is something you and your doctor must
decide.
Q. What is a region?
A. The clinic will discuss this with you.
Q. Are scans covered by OHIP
A. You may OHIP funding but is not routinely granted
and usually must be requested in advance.
Q. How do I locate the clinic?
A. The clinic will give you directions when you
confirm your appointment.
Q. I get claustrophobic - what can I do?
A. There is an OPEN MRI in Buffalo.
